If you’re asking yourself “what the heck is RSS?”, you can see why this event was created. RSS stands for “Really Simple Syndication.” It’s a quick and easy way to keep up with your favorite blogs without having to visit each individual site to see what’s new. Here’s an excellent short video from Common Craft that explains how RSS works and why you might want to use it.
If you’re ready to jump in, the RSS Day website has some additional info on how to subscribe to your favorite blog’s RSS feed.

Katherine Drenski is a Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner and offers Bach Flower Remedies for both horses and riders. Due to the growing interest in equine alternative therapies, Katherine felt it was time to make herself more available and visible to the community and she contacted me to design a website for Lucky August Equine Solutions.
The design needed to be both eye-catching and graceful, and Katherine’s beautiful photos (many of them taken right in her own garden) provided plenty of inspiration. The site is coded with standards-compliant CSS/XHTML, streamlining maintenance and providing a solid foundation for additional pages or functionality to be added in the future.
