World Cup Dressage on Animal Planet
If you watched Animal Planet’s World Cup Finals broadcast you probably noticed that the dressage coverage amounted to a paltry few minutes and not a single ride was shown in its entirety. In response to complaints from the dressage community, Animal Planet has posted videos of the complete rides on their website. Check out Isabel Werth’s winning ride on Warum Nicht (aka “Hannes”), Catherine Haddad’s showy “Gladiator” freestyle on Maximus, and crowd favorites Courtney King and Idocus whose lovely ride earned them a standing ovation and a sixth place showing overall.

I was searching for a few good Horse Blogs over the net, and thankfully came across yours.
Since, this blog is in most ways dedicated to horses, thought of dropping in a line or two on the upcoming Derby here in the UK.
The Epsom Derby, which is considered to be one of the most prestigious flat thoroughbred horse races in the world is one of the most iconic events in the British sporting and social calendar. It will take place, this week, at the Epsom Downs Racecourse, Surry, England.

Even though we saw the dressage in Vegas, we were really disappointed in the Animal Planet coverage. Thanks for the info!
